neben dem Busbahnhof Faro de Maspalomas bei den Unterständen und Bänken auf dem rot geklinkerten Fußweg. Fahrräder sind mitzubringen.
Schräg gegenüber befindet sich als erstes Geschäft in der Ladenzeile eine Filiale vom FREE MOTION BIKECENTER. Dort kann man sich zum Beispiel ein Fahrrad für ab 15 € pro Tag ausleihen. Tour 1: Maspalomas Rundtour 22 km für alle Räder geignet Maspalomas round trip

Durchschnittstempo: zwischen 14 und 18 km/h
Dauer: 2 bis 3 Stunden
Wegverhältnisse: Meistens gute Radege und wenig befahrene Nebenstraßen, nur geringe Steigungen, geeignet für alle Räder.

Details:
Es geht los. Nach dem Überblick auf dem Faro radeln wir die Promenade Richtung Meloneras entlang und dann Richtung Sonnenland zu den Bergen. Es folgt ein kurzer Eindruck der Berglandschaft zwischen Fincas und Solarfeldern.
Auf dem grünen Radwegenetz durch Parks, vorbei an Holiday World und dem Baranco zum Parque del Sur, dem besonders bei Einheimischen beliebten Erholungs- und Picknik-Park inmitten von Sportanlagen unterhalb von Sonnenland.
Auf grünen Radwegen unter Palmen am Einkaufszentrum Faro 2 vorbei zu einer Enklave mitten im Golfplatz Maspalomas.
Um den Golfplatz herum zum großen Kanal Barranco, der in die Charca, den kleinen See von Maspalomas, mündet.
Ein Blick auf den Strand und durch malerische Hotelgärten mit Papageien auf den Bäumen zurück zum Ausgangspunkt, dem
Busbahnhof Faro de
Maspalomas.

tour 2: Faro de Maspalomas, PLaya del Ingles, San Agustin Rundtour

Details

Länge der Tour: ca. 25 Kilometer
Einkehr beabsichtigt, allerdings haben wir nirgendwo reserviert.

Tempo: je nach Steigung zwischen 10 und 16 km/h
Dauer: 2 bis 3 Stunden
Wegverhältnisse: Alles dabei: Radege, neu asphaltierte Straßen in Play del Ingles, sowie auch holperige befestigte Wege und Strandpromenaden. Überwiegend mäßige, teilweise aber lange Steigungen. Mindestens 2 Mal müssen die Räder starke Steigungen hinauf geschoben werden.
Nicht für alle Räder geeignet. Mindestens eine Gangschaltung erforderlich.
Allen Anfängern und Teilnehmer*innen ohne gute Kondition und Ausdauer wird emfpohlen, sich ein E-Bike zu leihen.

Details
Wir starten wie gewohnt am Busbahnhof Faro de Maspalomas, radeln Richtung Sonnenland und dann über grüne Radwege zu unserer ersten Schiebestrecke. Wir müssen zum Aussichtspunkt über Maspalomas hoch.
Playa del Ingles hat sich für uns heraus geputzt und sehr viele Straßen neu asphaltiert.
Der erste Halt ist nartürlich am Riu Palace Hotel durch das man hindurch direkt zu den Dünen gehen kann.
Danach sehen wir die berühmten Einkaufszentren Cita, Sandia und Yumbo Center, die nicht nur dem Einkaufen dienen, sondern ein umfangreiches Entertainment und Musikprogramm bieten.
Im Yumbo findet das Nachtleben der queeren Community statt und in der Cita gibt es eine große Kneipen- und Café-Szene vor allem für deutschsprachige Besucher.
Ein vor 2 Jahren neu eröffneter Radweg führt uns nach San Agustin. Es geht rauf und runter auf wieder grünen Radwegen durch Parkanlagen in San Agustin.
Auf der Promenade haben wir einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer, den Stand und die gebirgige Küstenlandschaft.
Man kann mit dem Rad direkt ans Wasser fahren, so daß ein erfrischendes Bad möglich ist, wenn man seine Badekleidung dabei hat.
In San Agustin werden wir uns auch ein Restaurant zur Einkehr suchen.
Gut gestärkt radeln wir zu unserer zweiten Schiebestrecke am Einkaufszentrum Tropical direkt am Meer mit Blick auf den Strand von Playa del Ingles und zu den Dünen.
Es geht zurück durch Playa del Ingels zum Aussichtspunkt und wir rollen hinunter um danach zum Busbahnhof zurückzukehren.

Speed: between 10 and 16 km/h depending on the gradient Duration: 2 to 3 hours Trail conditions: Everything included: bike paths, newly asphalted roads in Play del Ingles, as well as bumpy paved paths and beach promenades. Mostly moderate, but sometimes long gradients. The bikes have to be pushed up steep gradients at least twice. Not suitable for all bikes. At least one gear shift required. Details We start as usual at the Faro de Maspalomas bus station, cycle towards Sonnenland and then along green cycle paths to our first push section. We have to go up to the viewpoint above Maspalomas. Playa del Ingles has spruced itself up for us and has resurfaced many streets. The first stop is of course at the Riu Palace Hotel, through which you can walk directly to the dunes. After that we see the famous shopping centers Cita, Sandia and Yumbo Center, which are not only for shopping, but also offer an extensive entertainment and music program. The nightlife of the queer community takes place in the Yumbo and in the Cita there is a large pub and café scene, especially for German-speaking visitors. tour 3: Ausflug zum Stausee Ayagaures ca. 30 Kilometer

Eine Erweiterung dieser Tour durch einen schweren Teil ist auf Wunsch möglich. Es geht dann hoch hinaus in die Berge

Tempo: zwischen 10 und 18 km/h
Dauer: bis zu 4 Stunden
Fahrräder: Die Tour ist für fast jedes Rad geeignet. Komoot spricht von einer mittelschweren Tour. Allerdings wird allen Anfängern und Teilnehmer*innen ohne gute Kondition und Ausdauer emfpohlen, sich ein E-Bike zu leihen.

Wegverhältnisse: Zunächst neu asphaltierte Straßen und gute Radwege, ab Aqualand schmale befestigte Straße mit einer gleichmäßigen Steigung von ca.250 Meter auf einer Strecke von 9 Kilometern. Danach starke Steigung in Serpentinen auf insgesamt 300 Meter. Alle, die nicht bis nach ganz oben mitkommen, können im La Cuevita warten, bis alle zurück sind.

Details:
Wir starten in Fahrtrichtung Sonnenland und biegen gleich rechts auf eine neu asphaltierte Straße zwischen Parkhaus und Palmen ab. Später säumen Bäume diese Allee. Weiter geht es auf eine breiten sanierten Hauptstraße weiter in Richtung Sonnenland und dann über güne Radwege bis zu Holiday World.
Unterhalb von Sonnenland fahren wir auf der GC 503 bis zum Aqualand und biegen rechts in die GC 504 ab, die uns zum Stausee führt.
Kurz vor dem Stausee befindet sich das La Cuevita , wo wir einkehren werden. Alle, die nach der bisherigen moderaten Steigung noch Lust haben, können noch ganz bis oben fahren, um den Stausse zu sehen.
Nach dem Essen rollen wir wieder zurück. Die Tour endet wieder am Busbahnhof.

Length of the tour: approx. 30KM Speed: between 10 and 18 km/h Duration: up to 4 hours Bikes: The tour is suitable for almost any bike. Komoot calls it a moderately difficult tour. However, all beginners and participants without good fitness and stamina are recommended to rent an e-bike. Road conditions: Firstly, newly asphalted roads and good cycle paths, from Aqualand a narrow paved road with a uniform gradient of around 250 meters over a distance of 9 kilometers. Then a steep gradient in serpentines for a total of 300 meters. Anyone who can’t make it to the top can wait at La Cuevita until everyone is back. Details: We start in the direction of Sonnenland and turn right onto a newly asphalted road between the parking garage and palm trees. Later, trees line this avenue. We continue on a wide, renovated main road towards Sonnenland and then along green cycle paths to Holiday World. Below Sonnenland we drive on the GC 503 to Aqualand and turn right onto the GC 504, which takes us to the reservoir. Just before the reservoir is La Cuevita, where we will stop for a break. Tour 4

El Salobre, El Tablero, Sonnenland – Kurze heftige Steigung, langes Herabrollen

Details

Länge der Tour: ca. 20 Kilometer

Tempo: zwischen 5 und 22 km/h
Dauer: bis zu 3 Stunden

Fahrräder: Die Tour nicht für jedes Rad geeignet. Es wird allen Anfängern und Teilnehmer*innen ohne gute Kondition und Ausdauer emfpohlen, sich ein E-Bike zu leihen.

Wegverhältnisse: Zunächst Straßen und Radwege, dann eine sehr steile nur 300 Meter lange Steigung, bei der E-Bikes, die nur einen 250 Watt-Motor haben, eventuell in Schwierigkeiten kommen können. Ich schiebe die letzten Meter. Ca. 1 Kilometer weiter folgt eine weitere Steigung, die zwar länger, aber moderater ist. Nur, wer sich mal richtig anstrengen will, verzichtet auf den Motor und radelt oder schiebt.
Das war es dann aber schon. Danach geht es fast nur noch bergab, teilweise sehr steil. Bitte unbedingt vor Abfahrt die Bremsen eures Fahrrades überprüfen.

Wir starten wie gewohnt am Busbahnhof Faro Maspalomas bei den Unterständen und Bänken, wie ihr sie auf den Titelfotos von den ersten Touren sehen könnt. Auf dem Radweg, der hinter dem Parkhaus beginnt, radeln wir bis Sonnenland, biegen aber links ab und sind dann nach 4 Kilometern bei der heftigen Steigung. Am Ende dieser Steigung ist eine Bank zum Ausruhen.
Wenn wir oben sind durchqueren wir El Salobre und haben einen wunderbaren weiten Blick bis zum Meer.
In El Tablero geht es schon bergab. Am Einkaufszentrum vorbei fahren wir Richtung Sonnenland. Dort gibt es viele Möglichkeiten eine ausgiebige Pause zu machen und einzukehren. Die Tour ist ja kurz und wir haben Zeit.
Danach müssen wir nicht mehr treten, sondern bremsen.
Die Tour ist kurz, aber die Anstrengungen am Anfang werden manchem schon reichen, der nicht gerade sportlich unterwegs ist. Auf Wunsch kann sie aber um eine Runde durch Meloneras verlängert werden.

After that we don’t have to pedal anymore, just brake. The tour is short, but the effort at the beginning will be enough for some who are not particularly sporty. If you wish, it can be extended to include a lap through Meloneras.

TOUR 5

Castillo de Romeral

Dauer: bis zu 5 Stunden je nach Tempo
Wegverhältnisse: Zu Beginn Radwege und Nebenstraßen, ab San Agustin Landstraßen mit zum Teil starken Steigungen. Auf der Landstraße Westenpflicht. Wir verteilen sie kostenlos.
Einkehr geplant. Wir sind allerdings nirgendwo angemeldet,
E**-Bike empfohlen für alle durchchnittlichen Radler*innen.**

Wir starten wie gewohnt am Busbahnhof, nutzen allerdings nicht die Hauptstraßen wie die GC 500, sondern suchen uns Radwege und Nebenstraßen um nach San Agustin zu kommen.
Dann geht es bergauf. Es ist allerdings nicht so schlimm, wie es aussieht und gelangen nach Bahia Feliz.
Ein Verweilen auf der ruhigen Promenade lohnt sich, allerdings wollen wir ja noch weiter. Da müssen wir wieder auf die Landstraße. Plötzlich steht ein großes Flugzeug am Wegesrand. Daran radeln wir aber vorbei und fahren Richtung Meer nach Castillo de Romeral wo wir einkehren möchten.
Nach der Pause geht es zurück zum Busbahnhof Faro Maspalomas.

Then it goes uphill. It is not as bad as it looks, however, and we get to Bahia Feliz. It is worth stopping on the quiet promenade, but we still want to go further. Then we have to get back on the country road. Suddenly there is a large airplane on the side of the road. But we cycle past it and head towards the sea to Castillo de Romeral where we want to stop. After the break we return to the Faro Maspalomas bus station.
